Technique, talent and spectacle. This is what Alvaro has given us over the years. His unquestioned class allows him to plan every moment and to enjoy the battle with equally talented riders, who throughout the season have given him the opportunity to test his limits and push himself a little beyond his comfort zone. This was confirmed by the close battle he had with Toprak in the twelve Grand Prix races. The few points needed to beat Toprak Razgatlioglu were scarce. It was a real spectacle that kept us glued to the screen and cheering at every turn. 

"Not wanting to make the same mistake as last year, when I needed some time to come to terms with what had happened, I wanted to put on the suit and boots that my sponsors had prepared for the occasion. The only risk I can see now is that I might get used to these wonderful colours" (laughs), as he reflects on this season's moments. "As obvious as it may sound, I am really grateful for the constant support I receive from companies like Sidi, which allows me to concentrate on my performance.
