The German, born in 2004, showed his best on a rather technical track that put the athletes to the test. The young rider came out masterfully raising his arms in the air and cheering at the end of some rather close action.

In race one, Längenfelder set the fastest lap, which he maintained, being the fastest on the track and extending his lead over his rivals.

In race two, he maintained his dominance by remaining up front once again despite a mistake which challenged his position. The demanding track however generated several twists and chases that led to a close battle between the German and the French rider, Vialle, but Längenfelder maintained his concentration which earned him the Grand Prix victory and the red plate.

Simon Längenfelder was in disbelief at the end of the gruelling race, which brought a worthy end to a lot of hard work in preparation. 'In the qualifying race I felt good and had a good start,' declared Simon. 'It was a good race, I felt really good on the bike and I did my best. In the second race it was really hard to fight with Tom and Jago, they were really fast, I was just trying to look ahead. I'm really happy now to go home with the red plate."

We have been supporting riders for many years now, but I can't hide the fact that every time it is always a new exciting adventure,'' confesses Rosella Signori. 'Simon is really very young but determined. He got the impression that he absolutely knows what he wants both in terms of results and equipment. Seeing him immediately very happy with the Crossfire 3 he is wearing was another small success. To see him win now in his first race is an emotion. We're ready for many more.’

While Simon took the MX2 Grand Prix, Prado secured a hard-fought second place in the MXGP championship after winning the second  manche of the day.

Prado handled an incredible Gajser perfectly in race two and managed to hold on to win by just 0.500 of a second! Gajser now leads the MXGP standings, followed by Prado on 43 points and Seewer third with 40.

'Starting the season on the podium was perfect. At first, I was a bit rusty but I made a good start in the second race even though Tim was flying. His mistake was my chance, I gave it my all and won. I am really happy," said Jorge Prado after a thrilling duel.

AT THEIR FEET

The Crossfire 3 SRS respond to the most specific needs of riders thanks to technological details such as their Hyper Extension Block, which is crucial for protecting the ankle and tendons of the riders; the Flex System, on the other hand, acts on the flexibility of the boot and the Adjustable Calf System adjusts the cuff allowing the opening of the boot to be widened or narrowed through simple adjustments, thus ensuring a comfortable fit.

The boot cuff includes a replaceable PU inner boot guard plate with molded rubber insert, which is responsible for protecting the leg from engine heat while extending the life of the boot and limiting wear.

The removable and replaceable DOVETAIL SOLE SRS - also available for enduro - is designed to ensure perfect grip on the bike and on the ground, thus guaranteeing safety and comfort.
