It's Ride the Dreamland, the novelty of the autumn on the national and international cycling calendar. The project, which includes four events, will take place in the month of October when the professionals will compete on three races, two of which on the road - 13 October 2021: Giro del Veneto and 17 October 2021: Veneto Classic, while the third is entirely designed for a discipline that is becoming increasingly popular on the cycling scene, the gravel, with its first race for professionals scheduled for 15 October 2021: Serenissima Gravel. Amateurs, on the other hand, will line up at the starting grid on 16 October 2021 on a dedicated day, the Granfondo VENEtoGO

'We have been working alongside Filippo Pozzato as a company since he was 16. During his career, we have always collaborated with excellent results; his feedback has been important and has allowed us to improve and always be attentive to the needs of athletes and a constantly evolving cycling,' explains Rosella Signori. 'When he told us about the idea they had developed and the project they wanted to put in place, we did not hesitate to confirm our support as a sponsor of the event.'

The week immediately following 'Il Lombardia', the Veneto region will be the protagonist of an event with an innovative format that aims to talk about cycling in a broader way, racing, competition, but also sharing and promoting a truly magical sport and a territory that are both capable of stirring emotions through the journey that cycling allows you to take in an area that has so much to offer.

"Our idea is to propose a real show to fans with the aim of giving visibility to our territory," says Filippo Pozzato. "We'll bring historical and exciting routes back to Veneto, giving cycling lovers and sponsors a chance to cheer on their idols on their home roads. I'm happy to have Sidi by my side once again. Rosella has always shown great enthusiasm for initiatives like this one, and a large company like Sidi could not miss such an innovative event," he concludes.

The official presentation took place last night, 16 September, at Ca' Vendramin Calergi, Venice. A prestigious location for an ambitious project that reveals, among its many goals, the dream of one day starting the Veneto Classic from Piazza San Marco.

I think there should be more initiatives like this. Cycling is really a world apart, a lifestyle and a passion,’' continues Rosella. ‘I have lived this sport through the memories of my father, when he raced; I have seen the growth of a company that has always invested in cycling and supported athletes. I have seen it change over time, but one thing has remained the same, the simplicity of a sport requiring effort. One of the reasons we are always willing to be part of events like this one, is to raise awareness. We would like more and more people to get involved in this wonderful adventure. We would like to tell children how this discipline strengthens their character and gives them incredible satisfaction, both as professionals and as amateurs,' he concludes.
