The weekend Alvaro Bautista gave to Sidi is one for the history books. At the end of a season, number 19 on the ARUBA.IT RACING - DUCATI team, was almost always on the podium. A frantic and passionate run towards his first World Superbike title, which proved that 2022 was definitely his year. In numbers, the Spaniard has had fourteen wins this season and has been on the podium twenty-nine times out of thirty-three races held.

For Sidi, this is the third time that a rider has worn the brand's boots on the first step of the SBK World Championship. Bautista, In particular, is very fond of MAG 1s, which he has been using for three years now, relying on their concentrated technology to achieve high performance on the track. Designed on the needs of professional riders, the MAG-1s have an elegant and responsive design that synthesises, in its materials and technical details, all the innovations developed by the Treviso-based company in its long experience on the track. A simple look with complex technology, designed to facilitate use and fit as well as to increase safety and guarantee the rider feels good on the bike.

‘I am incredibly happy. It's a dream come true because especially after these two somewhat difficult years I really have to thank everyone who believed in me and allowed me to fight my way here race after race.’ says an emotional Alvaro Bautista. ‘Obviously I felt a lot of tension before the start but I did everything I could to manage my emotions during the race. While I was first I made a lot of mistakes because I was thinking too much so I preferred to stay in second position behind Toprak who was really strong. I just wanted to finish the race as best I could. I am over the moon, it was a really tough race and I also congratulate Jonathan (Rea) because he had a great season and it's always quite difficult to beat him. There is still one more race though. There will be some good battles.’

A combination of technology and talent, therefore, that allowed the Ducati rider to triumph in Indonesia, one Grand Prix away from the conclusion of the 2022 championship, with 553 points in the overall standings. A success of which Sidi is more than proud and which testifies to the perennial bond between the brand and the racing world, which has allowed the company to evolve and be a protagonist on an international stage.

The victory also gave Sidi a more than valid reason to produce an absolutely exclusive pair of MAG 1s, fit for a champion, and perfect to match a world-class look.
